"Illustration is the best way to experience a dream without sleeping"

I wrote this random quote years back , but grasped its subtle essence gradually. We can actually freeze time as well as express through the process of creating art.

It all started for me when I was a kid and used to make random sketches of bikes and superheroes on any piece of paper I could grab, while my parents added the encouraging ingredient to it.

Gradually, exploring the works of Mario Miranda and Ralph Steadman, I fell in love with conventional noir pen and ink illustration , which I felt is supremely stylish.

Being an amateur artist, It helped me to make thematic pen and ink works, extracting inspiration from history, movies and street.

British officials can be seen in the background , engrossed in surveying the ghettos along the countryside. A lot of violence spilled during these surveys and drives for urbanisation and epidemic control by colonial masters. A change and continuity can be observed as how surveying techniques have evolved over the eras.
