Lushoo has been sketching, painting, doodling, scribbling, and cartooning for as long as she can remember, be it in the margins of her textbooks or on her father’s newspaper. While she studied Psychology and pursued a career in management consulting, she stayed true to her love for art; the paintbrush and the pen remained her constant companions. The birth of her daughter Meher in 2014 only reinforced her love for art both as play and as a means of self-expression.

She works with multiple mediums – graphite, pastels, charcoal as well as acrylics, but has found her calling with watercolors. She experiences ‘magic’ in watercolors - The fresh white sheet of cold-pressed paper symbolizes new possibilities and the dance between water and color accentuates the idea of ‘letting go and going with the flow. Lushoo writes and illustrates poems for children under the moniker ‘Loony Monsoony’ and aspires to put together a collection of whimsical rhymes and doodles. She also uses art in her work as a Psychologist, in the form of live sketch-note making, and as a learning and self-reflection tool. She brings forward the beautiful and poignant thought from Shel Silverstein's Poem “Colors” - that we are all made of colors, many of which are yet to be ‘invented’, in her life and in her work.
