Suneil Baukhandi, intends to promote India's cultural richness and heritage of the past by way of presenting true and faithful replicas of Ajanta paintings. "Though the paintings can never suit everyone’s taste, full efforts are taken to put my best on the paper," says Suneil.
The Ajanta style of painting is unique, a poetic dynamism set in motion. Peace exists in the caves-a prevailing peace of harmony in composition and colour. All the expressions exist in the strongest potential. These are the most exquisite paintings to be seen in India. The paintings once covered the whole surface of the walls-from edge of the ceiling down to the floor. But now only parts of the paintings remain. These paintings illustrate the JATAKA- stories and the Buddhist themes.
