Tushar is a self-taught artist whose love for art was encouraged by his devout mother and lovingly critical brother. Learning from all of his 20 + years of projects, assignments and experiences, in Graphic Design, Typography, Calligraphy, website designing, training children and teachers, developing art and craft modules for children, he has sustained and promoted art with the zest of a zealot. His passion borders on devotion.
Tushar uses Pencil, sketching, Charcoal, water, pastels, Acrylic, Oil painting, to express himself. He has been deeply inspired by Indian traditional folk art. He is constantly seeking out the vibrant and unexplainable colours in nature and numerous shades and textures of moods and expressions of people.
Born in a traditional family where religion exemplifies love and respect for all humans, animals, and environmental energies, Tushar's favourite themes are mythological. Brought up with vivid stories about Gods and Goddesses, he has been painting on different themes over the years in his own style, giving in to his need for expression. Currently he is working on Lord Krishna's mythical and magical life from childhood till his death.
